“Tiger & Crane Sparring Set” is without a doubt a signature sparring form of Lam Family Hung Kyun – true heritage of legendary Grand Master Lam Jou. It is also a favorite sparring set of my Sifu, Grand Master Lam Chun Sing. Many of the applications and combat techniques that my Sifu teaches are based on Fu Hok Chaak.
In 2004 we have shot an instructional Fu Hok Chaak video, as well as accompanying photo series with my Sifu – step by step instruction. Due to the technical difficulties we have never finished the project, but – with today’s technology, it would be much easier to do it.
Should I ask my Sifu if he wants to release it e.g. as an online video course, or a downloadable instructional video?
