Lam Sai Wing Memorial Cup: Hung Kyun Competition, October/November 2016

LAm Sai Wing Memorial Cup

To celebrate the one year anniversary of the opening of his school and Dit Da clinic in Foshan of the PRC, Grandmaster Lam Chun Sing hereby invites all of his students and grand-students from all over the world to visit his school and clinic and to participate in international Hung Kuen competitions in Foshan, China in October/November 2016.

Timetable

The proposed timetable for the celebrations and festivities are as follows:

  • 27 October 2016 – One year anniversary of the opening of Grandmaster Lam Chun Sing’s Hung Kuen School and Dit Da Clinic – lion dancing, kung fu demonstrations, dinner.
  • 28 to 30 October 2016 – Nam Hoi Athletic Association international Wushu Competition
  • 1 November 2016 – Lam Sai Wing Memorial Cup Hung Kuen Competition sponsored by the Foshan/ Ping Zhou Local Government.

Cost

For individuals wishing to participate in the above competitions, the cost will be USD 500 per person. Upon payment of the application fee of USD 500, competitors will be entitled to enter any individual fists, weapons or sparring forms events in both the competitions above. For teams wishing to participate in the team/ group performance competitions (minimum 6 persons), the cost will be USD 350 per person.

The above application fees cover food and accommodation for competitors between 27 October 2016 and 2 November 2016. However, competitors would be expected to make their own travel arrangements.

Prizes

There are cash prizes on offer for winning competitors. Individual competitors will be offered a prize of RMB 800 for being awarded first place in any individual fist, weapon or sparring form competitions. Team competitors will be offered a combined prize of RMB 3,500 per team or group for being awarded first place in the team/ group performance competitions.
